I've never found spoon mules to be very comfortable, so I've designed an upgrade for my shave horse design that still allows you to push your legs forward instead of out, while also clamping the work piece low like a spoon mule, and best of all it only takes a few seconds to switch between the shave horse and the spoon mule.
